- Ability to flesh out user stories to be consumed by the rest of the team
- Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile (Scrum, Kanban) environment
- Bachelor's in Computer Science
- Ability to collaborate with team members remotely
- Experience introducing a 3rd tier (API) into a monolithic stack
- API and middle tier Unit Testing frameworks

Golang Job Details
We are seeking a contract Senior Backend Engineer to help take our web application and tech stack to the next level. We're looking for a dynamic individual who is no stranger to building well-designed, performant and effective API framework/components needed for web applications that support complex business rules and flows. As you come up to speed on our business logic, you will contribute your backend development experiences to help architect API frameworks/components to adapt to in addition to adding more features to our product.
What You'll Do
First 90 Days
In your First 30 Days, you will immerse yourself in our product and technology stack. In partnership with our Lead, you will help evaluate and design API framework/components. You will contribute to a loosely-defined technical roadmap around our API that takes scalability, testing and performance into account. You will take on development items and get your hands in our current web stack.
In your First 60 Days, you will work with your lead to work on a backlog of technical infrastructure work. In collaboration with your Product Owner, you will co-author a backlog of work to systematically add new features to our enterprise product offering.
In your First 90 Days, you will play a meaningful role in contributing to our API releases. You will monitor and create work items from production issues. You will contribute to our evolving technical roadmap, increasing the success of future deliveries.

The salary range for this opportunity is $130,000 - $145,000 per year. You will be eligible for discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
